Foreword

The safety of the aviation industry is of critical importance both in terms of accident / incident prevention and the financial performance of the industry. The development of Safety Management Systems (SMS) facilitates a more coordinated approach of the various elements that create a safe operation. Auditing is one key element when assessing the effectiveness of the SMS and whole compliance of the organization.

The past almost two years have affected organizations in many ways. It is obvious that the auditing process is an area where policies and methods have had to be rethought. Remote and desk-top auditing has increased, although there are several areas where physical auditing is necessary. There is also a need for refresher training, in order to maintain compliance of the personnel from industry with a functional responsibility for managing safety and compliance.

Qualiherz Oy has decided to organize and develop this training day to answer to the need within the industry how to refresh and update the audit methods and capabilities of the new era.
